yeah yeah yeah i get it - what's with all the pink and the little flowers and are we simply going back in time for no reason?

the truth is that i made this website with its cute little layout and anti-mobile friendly look because i'm tired! tired of the grip social media and the tech giants that control it have on us, tired of the internet being used as a place to divide and spread hate, tired of all the things i once considered "safe spaces" being overtaken by billionaires who ultimately ruin them in the name of money and power.

here's the thing: i remember a time when the internet felt uncharted and unknown, when it seemed endless in terms of creativity, art, and community. i remember a time when it was a joy to be on the internet, when "logging on" was not a thing that came with the stress and doom and gloom that we associate it with now. i guess that's why i made this site, ultimately: i'm looking for a way to reclaim the internet for myself--and if you happen to find my site, maybe you'll feel some of that reclamation too :)

so yeah, blah blah blah bleeding heart and nolstagia pill and maybe i'm too idealistic, maybe i'm too soft, maybe i'm too naive for a time that we can no longer return to. i dunno. i choose to believe it's possible, and this is my version of taking the internet BACK.
